2019 Heritage Culture and Education Trip

Aotea Sport and Recreation Association and Auckland Whau Chinese Association co-operate to hold the Heritage Culture and Education Trip for the community. There will be around 30 Adults and 10 Children. It is 3 days and 2 nights trip. It is an opportunity to navigate new city in New Zealand, sightseeing and communicate with more people.

Trip plan:

• Day 1 (Saturday, 1st June): 8am pick up passengers at Albany bus station; 8:30am pick up at unit 3, 44 portage road, New Lynn; 9:00am pick up at 13 Arwen place, East Tamaki. Go to Taupo, visit craters of the moon, Taupo Museum. Motel check-in in Taupo.

• Day 2 (Sunday, 2nd June): Visit Lava Glass – Glassblowing, Huka Falls, Huka Prawn Park, Historic village in Tauranga. Motel check-in in Tauranga.

• Day 3 (Queen’s Birthday, Monday, 3rd June): Climb Mt Maunganui. 3:00pm go back to Auckland. Drop off in 13 Arwen Place, East Tamaki; Unit3, 44 Portage Road, New Lynn; Albany Bus Station.

From this trip, it is very importance that we can learn more about New Zealand’s Traffic Rules, Local Culture, NZ History and LifeStyle, which making it easier for new settlers to integrate into local society, being physical and mental health.

2019 新西兰Taupo & Tauranga地理历史文化体验游

为了让更多新西兰海外华人了解当地的地理历史文化，让老年人重返社会，接触人群增加沟通，改善老年人身心健康，学习更多交通规则，ASR华人体育文化活动中心与Whau 华人协会组织了一次3天2晚Taupo & Tauranga地理历史文化体验游。 本次活动大约有30人参与。欣赏陶坡湖，胡卡瀑布，芒格努伊山 还有塔玛基毛利文化村。
