On Thursday 28 July 2022, we hold Community Health Talk – Bowel Cancer Screening in Te Tuhi, Pakuranga. In last two years people were focusing the Covid and almost forgot the bowel cancer which is the second highest cause of cancer death in New Zealand. Many people, especially new immigrants still do not know the health support information due to language barrier. Vinson Chao Yu worked with the Bowel Cancer Screen Team: Mere & Rowena from CMDHB; June & Hannah from WDHB came to do the presentation. The team also set up Bella which is a blow up of the bowel that you can walk through and you can experience how polyp developed to cancer.
